Chiropractor Roy Hillgartner D.C.

Dr. Roy Hillgartner founded Ballwin Chiropractic Center/Hillgartner Chiropractic in June of 1974. Prior to opening this private practice facility, he did a two-year internship with Associated Chiropractic Physicians in St. Louis, Missouri. He is now in his 40th year of full time private practice.

Dr. Hillgartner attended both University of Missouri, St. Louis and Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, Missouri. He also performed his two-year externship at Logan College of Chiropractic. After receiving his D.C. degree (Doctor of Chiropractic) he served a two-year military obligation at Brook’s Army Hospital, Fort Sam Houston, Texas and Reynolds Army Hospital, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Dr. Hillgartner is affiliated/member of the International Chiropractic Association and Logan College Alumni Association. He is a faculty member of Logan College of Chiropractic, and a past member and chairperson, governor appointment, to the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Dr. Hillgartner has been a faculty member of Logan College of Chiropractic since 1972 and is completing his 40th year of ongoing college teaching. He presently teaches Chiropractic Philosophy/Principles, Chiropractic Practice/Patient Management and Professional Development Business Courses. He has taught Introductory Spinal Anatomy, Radiographic Technique, Spinal Adjusting/Manipulation Technique and has been privileged to have taught over 6,500 students earning the Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He is a past faculty member of the Logan College of Chiropractic Graduate School and has taught numerous seminars to the chiropractic profession throughout the United States.

He has received numerous chiropractic awards including two Distinguished Service Awards from Logan College of Chiropractic for outstanding service to the profession. He has been privileged to have appeared on radio and television programs as well as testifying before Missouri Senate Hearing Committees concerning chiropractic health care.

Chiropractor Chad Hillgartner D.C.

Dr. Chad J. Hillgartner, born and raised in west county St. Louis, represents the second generation of chiropractic physicians at Hillgartner Chiropractic. The clinic originally opened in 1974 by his father, Dr. Roy Hillgartner.

Dr. Chad Hillgartner attended Baylor University, for his undergraduate studies and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.) from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2002. In addition to his full time practice Dr. Hillgartner has also been a faculty member at Logan College of Chiropractic since 2003. He presently instructs in the Chiropractic Science Division in Spinal Analysis/Examination and Diversified Spinal Adjusting.

Neuro-musculoskeletal, sports injury and auto accident related conditions make up the majority of Dr. Hillgartner’s practice. He is doing advanced professional studies in nutrition and wellness care. His holistic approach to healthcare allows him to treat patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.
